'Bridget' 2023 Sparkling Pink

Grapes grown in Essex, UK

What's the wine like?

Raspberries, cream, white pepper and doughnut loving!!

Doughnut loving because Bridget loves a doughnut (and bananas). We needed to use these in volume to get her to let us take her photo.

Bridget is a complex, well made wine. She is very approachable, lovely mouthfeel, very dry (6g/L of sugar), great small bubbles (bead) and crafted with real care.

Soft fruit on the nose, far too easy to drink, well rounded and approachable. The small amount of English Cabernet Sauvignon really adds that little bit of something special and different to the wine. Who knew England grew Cab Sav? Well, they don’t really, just one or two small, passionate farmers aka grape growers.

'Kyra' 2024 Sauvignon Blanc

Grapes from Bordeaux, France.

What’s the wine like?

A fresh, clean style with lovely textured mouthfeel and tropical notes with passion fruit and melon. An easy drinker, crowd pleaser, glass clinker.

The grapes were 100% whole bunch pressed and the juice transferred to stainless steel. We then inoculated the juice with 2 yeast strains, one New-World, one Old World. Post fermentation the wine is kept on lees in tank and given very light batonnage. Kyra is then filtered. No malolactic on this wine.

'Susana' 2022 Pinot Noir

Grapes grown in Pfalz, Germany

What's the wine like?

A light bodied aromatic red with lovely freshness.  Strawberries, cherries and vanilla with some spicy notes. This wine is delicate and elegant with long finish.

The grapes were destemmed and fermented on the skins for 8 days until all the sugars were consumed. The wine was then gently pressed, went through malolactic and aged in old french oak for 18 months before being bottled after a light filtration.

Note: These wines, like all our wines, are vegan friendly. They are made without the use of animal based winemaking products.
