So we've turned up the funk on this wine. More 'natural' on the nose compared to most of our wines.

Grown on very old vines and farmed organically in Lagos, southern Portugal.

This is a whole bunch & hand destemmed, wild ferment, unfiltered red that was aged in neutral old French oak barrels for 10 months, then left to bottle age for 12 months.

He's full of blackcurrant with a natural overtone leading to leather, spice and dates.

A slightly divisive wine, loved by many, challenging to some. Which sounds like a Renegade to us!

Alf is a lovely bloke and lives in Stanmore, North London. He grew up in the East End, he's now retired but volunteers in a charity shop.

If anyone cares, this wine, like all our wines, is vegan friendly. This does not mean they wave to vegans in the street, they are just made without the use of any animal based winemaking products.
